The Board of Finance is a 5-member committee who are typically financial professionals who can advise on a wide range of financially related decisions.

Annually the Board presents to the Congregation Council a detailed budget for the upcoming year, reviews insurance coverage for the Church and its employees, and works together with the audit committee to implement their recommendations.

On a monthly basis, the Board reviews the detailed monthly financial statements prepared by the Treasurer, monitors expenditures relative to the budget, and reconciles the monthly bank statements.

We are always looking for people who are interested in becoming a Counter. You work with one of two other people and it involves only a couple of hours every 5 or 6 Sundays.
